Publications

Francesco Iezzi was born in Chieti (CH) on 24/09/1986.

From 2020 to present, he is an adjunct professor of New Media Languages (L-FIL/05) at the eCampus Telematic University.

His research activity mainly focuses on cinema, philosophy, esotericism, visual arts and new media.

From 2019 to present, he is a tenured teacher of Multimedia Communication Techniques (competition class A061) at IIS - Marelli-Dudovich in Milan.


In 2019 he conceived, wrote and directed the series "Plurals"; a series consisting of 7 episodes and shot in 9:16, among the performers Serena Autieri and Maurizio Mattioli. A project realized with the contribution of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers - Department for Equal Opportunities, Produced by Angelika Vision (Work realized with the support of the Lazio Region - regional fund for cinema and audiovisual work also realized thanks to the use of tax credit Mibact), distributed by Minerva Pictures on Amazon Prime Video, Youtube and other platforms.


For over fifteen years he has been working as a video artist (under the pseudonym Vjit) making video installations presented in important national and international festivals.

In 2015 he collaborated with Alva Noto at the Electric Campfire Festival organized by the Raster-Noton record label and held in Rome at the Deutsche Akademie in Villa Massimo.

In 2019 he obtained the title of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in MUSIC AND SHOW at the University of Rome " Sapienza" - Rome XXXI cycle.

From 2018 to 2019 he was a lecturer in Multimedia Communication Techniques (competition class A061) at the Liceo Scientifico J.F. Kennedy in Rome.

In 2017 he was a lecturer in the Digital Storytelling workshop held at MACRO, Museum of Contemporary Art in Rome. As part of the Live Cinema Festival.

Same workshop replicated during the Festival: Fotonica (December 9, 2017) at MACRO and the RGB Light Experience festival (October 29, 2017) at Casa della cultura - Villa de Sanctis in Rome.

In 2017, he was External Commissioner of Production and Organization Techniques during the high school graduation exams at the State Higher Education Institute Cine-tv Roberto Rossellini in Rome.

In 2015 he obtained L'abilitazione all'insegnamento - TFA II ciclo (Tirocinio Formativo Attivo) Classe di concorso A061 at the Accademia delle Belle Arti - Rome for the subject Technologies and techniques of multimedia communications.

In 2014 he was Adjunct Lecturer of History of Cinema at the University of Rome "Sapienza" - Faculty of Humanities.

From 2013 to 2014 he was Editorial Editor at Colors & Gold Ent. (Via Giorgio Scalia 10/b) in Rome for the magazines Empire Italia; FHM Italia; Just Cinema; Ufo - International Magazine; Did you know that?; AppleMag

From 2012 to 2013 he was a lecturer in History of Cinema at Middlebury College School in Italy (Via degli Alfani, 48 - 50121) in Florence, Italy.

In 2013 he was appointed Subject Tutor - History of Cinema at the Faculty of Humanities, University of Rome "Sapienza".

In 2012 he attended the training course with related certificate in Publishing in the Times of the Internet. The literary consultant, the editor in publishing houses and the web editor at Herzog Agenzia Letteraria.

In 2011, he obtained a master's degree in Knowledge and Techniques of theatrical, film and digital performance at the Faculty of Humanities, Humanities and Oriental Studies. - "Sapienza" of Rome with a grade of 110 cum laude.

In 2010 he obtained a diploma in Higher Technician for Communication and Multimedia organized by the Lazio region.

In 2010 he obtained a diploma in Digital Image Restoration at the Sapienza University of Rome.

In 2009, he obtained a bachelor's degree in Performing Arts and Sciences from the Faculty of Humanities, Humanities and Oriental Studies. - "Sapienza" of Rome with a grade of 108/110.

In 2005, he received his baccalaureate degree in science with final grade 86/100
