Upon completion of the Master’s Degree in Diplomatic Studies, students will have acquired advanced analytical, planning and communication skills applicable to international contexts.

The programme provides in-depth knowledge of international law and the external action of the European Union; the ability to interpret geopolitical and geoeconomic scenarios; tools for comparative foreign policy analysis; knowledge of international security, strategic studies and non-classified intelligence analysis; and the ability to make critical use of data, indicators, open sources and digital tools.

Students will also develop skills in negotiation, mediation, crisis diplomacy, protocol, ceremonial affairs, consular matters, strategic communication, countering disinformation, trade diplomacy, sustainability, climate diplomacy, health diplomacy and humanitarian diplomacy.

The academic pathway is completed by applied activities, simulations, case studies, policy brief drafting, scenario development, an internship and a final dissertation.
