General Mathematics

The Level I Master in General Mathematics provides training of a fundamental nature in three of the basic branches of mathematics such as mathematical analysis, algebra and analytic geometry, while going on to add basic training in statistics, a discipline that has now become all-pervasive in the world of work, and integrating this through the use of the computer in the practical solving of real problems.

Content

Upon completion of the Level I Master Course in General Mathematics, the student will

will have acquired a basic set of tools to carry out advanced numerical calculations, geometric computations and representations, sampling, calculations and statistical processing assisted by the use of the computer in practical applications.

The Level I Master Course in General Mathematics offers several possibilities for

employment in the world of work in a variety of fields. Following are some of the possible outlets

employment:

- Expert in General Mathematics

- Expert in basic statistics

- Expert in computer-aided computation

Admission requirements, testing and final exams

Applicants possessing a High School Diploma and a Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree, Master's Degree, or Old Degree are eligible to apply. In the absence of the required qualifications, admission on dossier is possible, based on an evaluation of the qualifications obtained and the experience acquired, as well as the skills developed within the framework of professional activity.

Lectures will be delivered at the discretion of the Lecturer through term papers, commentaries, specialized textbooks, handouts or lectures via live streaming platform. Evaluation is expressed in thirtieths.

The final examination consists of a Thesis of at least 30 pages on one of the topics covered during the Level I Master's program.
