Marco Sansonetti is an Italian-Swiss entrepreneur and consultant whose professional career has developed across the fields of private security, business organisation, risk assessment and contract management.

Initially trained in electronics, since 1998 he has carried out his professional activities in several countries, working in the fields of entrepreneurship, construction, security and investigations. In this context, he has acquired expertise in the analysis of contractual, accounting and banking documents, as well as in the planning and coordination of complex services.

Throughout his career, he has obtained qualifications as an auxiliary police officer, private security officer and private investigator. In 2023, he completed a Master’s programme in Business, Project and Marketing Management, further consolidating his expertise in business management, project planning, quality control, contract management and staff training.

In 2003, he founded Argo 1 Security Service, a company specialising in escort services, surveillance and security driving. The company provided services to tourist and hotel facilities, trade fairs, radio and television productions, and events of national and European significance. It was also responsible for the protection and travel management of personalities from the entertainment industry.

Subsequently, in 2014, he contributed to the establishment and growth of Argo 1 SA in the Canton of Ticino, holding positions in operational management, departmental coordination, supervision of quality systems and internal training.

Between 2014 and 2017, he managed three reception facilities for asylum seekers entrusted to him by the Department of Health and Social Affairs of the Canton of Ticino. He assumed responsibility for surveillance, reception, logistics, transport and catering services and, pursuant to a special statutory provision, was entrusted with the duties and powers of a state official.

The certificates issued by the commissioning public authorities highlighted his precision, professional competence and ability to manage particularly sensitive organisational situations with balance and sound judgement.

Over the course of more than twenty years of professional activity, he has also delivered approximately 2,000 hours of theoretical and practical training to personnel, contributing to their preparation in operational procedures, emergency management and quality standards.

Since 2023, he has worked as a technical consultant and business advisor, supporting companies in prevention processes, organisational protection, document verification, procedural compliance and business development. He is also active in marketing and communication, assisting organisations in identifying critical issues and defining appropriate operational solutions.

Since 2025, he has been developing software, management systems and secure messaging applications, as well as solutions for preventing assaults and robberies and systems for assisting elderly people. He also provides anti-violence centres, free of charge, with applications for emergency assistance and monitoring.

Awards and Recognition

In 2025, he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Switzerland in recognition of his commitment to protecting individuals, promoting innovation in digital security and safeguarding the confidentiality of communications.
