Financial education is essential for the development of informed and responsible citizens. This course aims to provide education professionals with the tools needed to teach essential financial skills to children and adolescents, promoting values such as responsibility, planning, and awareness.
The course is built on three fundamental pillars:
• EDUCATION understood as competence, awareness, and skill
• VALUES and RESPONSIBILITY towards oneself and others (society)
• PLANNING TO ACHIEVE GOALS, with emphasis on delayed gratification
• Understand the importance of financial education for children and adolescents
• Acquire skills to teach age-appropriate financial concepts
• Learn to design financial education activities and lessons
• Develop strategies to integrate financial education into the school curriculum
Advanced training for teachers, educators, and education-sector specialists interested in teaching financial education.
Applicants holding a high school diploma and a Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in education or related fields may enroll.
