The First-Level Master’s Programme in Maritime, Port and Integrated Logistics Law is an advanced programme of the Faculty of Legal Sciences of Campus HETG, designed to train professionals capable of operating within the maritime, port and international trade supply chain with legal, contractual, customs-related and organisational skills. The course enhances the traditional framework of navigation law and connects it with the current needs of businesses: intermodality, digital documentation, regulatory sustainability, safety, cybersecurity and risk management along the supply chain.
The teaching approach is designed for the Italian and European context, while maintaining an international outlook, because contracts, vessels, ports, customs and logistics require the coordinated interpretation of national sources, European Union rules, international conventions, documentary practices and sector standards.
Learning Objectives
The course aims to develop specialist skills in the interpretation and application of sources of maritime, port, customs and transport law; in the management of the main shipping and logistics contracts; in the analysis of the liabilities of shipowners, carriers, freight forwarders, terminal operators, concessionaires and clients; in the understanding of relations between Port System Authorities, private operators and public administrations; and in the preparation of compliance tools for customs, safety, environment, data and the digitalisation of trade flows. At the end of the programme, students should be able to connect the legal rule to the operational document, the company procedure and the professional decision.
